FAQ
-
What airport should I fly into?
For convenience, we suggest flying into Florence Airport (FLR). An additional (sometimes cheaper) option would be to fly into Rome and get a high speed train into Florence via italiarail.com
-
How far in advance should I book my flight?
Flights to Europe in October 2025 typically open up in September 2024. We suggest setting a flight alert to determine best pricing from your home airport.
-
How do I get from Florence to the wedding venue in Tuscany?
We suggest arranging an Uber or taxi service to get you to our venue. The venue is about a 45 minute drive from Florence city center
-
If I am not staying at the Wedding Villa will there be transportation arranged to and from neighboring villas?
Transportation will be provided to our suggested accommodation location. If you are staying somewhere else you will need to arrange your own transportation.
-
Is there a recommended transportation company we should use?
Our venue provided us with the transportation company, https://www.nccfirenzebartolini.com/ . Please reach out to them to set up your own transportation to accommodate our wedding weekend schedule!
-
Can I bring my kids to your wedding?
We recognize that having a destination wedding can cause additional financial and logistical strain on families. Unfortunately though, we are only open to having immediate family nieces and nephews in attendance at our wedding. We understand completely if this is a roadblock that will leave you unable to attend and hope to celebrate with you soon if that is the case!
-
How far in advance should I book my accomodations?
We suggest booking your lodging as soon as you know you can make it! If you need any help, feel free to reach out to Mike or Elvis!
-
Where should I stay?
All lodging recommendations can be found on our Travel & Stay page
-
What will the weather be like?
We expect the weather to still be fairly warm on our wedding day. On average the temperature is in the mid-70s but please check the forecast prior to packing!
-
Will Rigatoni be attending the wedding?
As much as we would love for Rigs to be apart of our wedding weekend, he will be in Chicago. But don't worry, we need a witness for our court house ceremony before heading to Italy and Rigatoni has graciously volunteered :)
